Where we come from in the Northwest, going fishing in a boat often means we are grabbing the trolling rods, and headed to the nearest reservoir for whatever coldwater species is in season and in the mood. We built the Zephyr to be a versatile line counter for any application, whether it be Walleye, Kokanee, Salmon, or Trout. We also wanted it to be affordable, so you could actually afford to rig out multiple rods behind the boat without breaking the bank. We built the reel with many of the classic features that you would expect in a line counter, but made sure to upgrade where it matters, while keeping it below a hundred dollars.
